Homemade Greeting Card Craft Project for Children

Here are some items you will need:

• White Glue or Mod Podge
• Paintbrushes
• Pictures and Letters from a Favorite Magazine
• Various Color Card Stock
• Scissors
• Ribbons (optional)
• Glitter Paints (optional)
• Stickers (optional)

Homemade DIY Greeting Cards Directions

1.  Pick the color cardstock you want to use as a card base and fold to the desired size and pattern.

2.  If you plan to mail the card be certain to cut the card base down to fit the envelop you will need to make from like  card stock. (if desired)

3.  Look through magazines to find pictures and words which represent the subject of the greeting card.

4.  Cut out letters from the magazine to make the words you need to express your feelings. Choose enough letters to put on the front and on the inside of the card.  TIP: Write out your message on a separate piece of paper before you begin looking for the right letters.

5.  Now the fun begins: Start designing, let you imagination run wild, you cannot go wrong. 

6.  And remember perfect imperfections make each card unique.
