Rainy day art project; Homemade Greeting Cards
Rainy Day Projects for Kids
You will need:
Decoupauge glue
Small sponge paintbrushes or children’s paintbrushes
Pictures and letters from magazine
Various Color card stock
Scissors
Ribbons (optional)
Glitter paints (optional)
Stickers (optional)
Pick the color of cardstock you want to use as a card base and fold to the desired size
If you plan to mail the card be certain to cut the card base down to fit the envelop you will need to make from like (desired) card stock
Look through magazines to find pictures that represent the subject of the greeting card
Cut out letters from the magazine to make the words you need to express your feeling. Pick enough letters to put on the front and in the card.
Now the fun begins: start designing, let you imagination run wild, you cannot go wrong.
And remember perfect imperfections make each card unique.
